    Duffy And Maines Fall Short In Marathon Doubles Match

    MEDINA -- After playing six qualifying sets and after four and a half hours of tennis last on Wednesday, Michael Maines and Alex Duffy lost a tough three-set match to Newfane. Maines and Duffy played well to come back from being down 1-4 in the second set and were back and forth in the third set before losing 7-5. The marathon match finished under the lights at 8:30 PM. Although the Raiders were not able to pull out the win last night, both players were both undefeated in the regular season.
     
    Next up is Erick Bennes in the Section VI Singles Tournament to be played next week.
